Cindy grew up in central Illinois and moved to Chicago to pursue a degree in psychology.  While attending college, she worked for a large behavioral health hospital navigating the complexities of insurance billing, verification and certification for mental health and substance abuse treatment. Over the next five years she had the opportunity to work in intake/care coordination and as a medication management assistant.  In addition, she worked with insurance companies to obtain coverage and authorization for patient’s participating in research studies.  Upon earning her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Northeastern Illinois University, Cindy was excited to bring the knowledge and experience she obtained and utilize it at a facility that could help each individual and family based on their unique situation.

In her role as Facility Administrator at Family Recovery Centers, Cindy oversees the office managers at each location, is responsible for all billing, intake coordination and the scheduling of clinical assessments. Cindy is the first point of contact for all families.  She understands how overwhelming the process of seeking treatment can be and she is happy to provide answers regarding the various treatment options available and financial responsibility for each family’s specific situation.  Cindy is thrilled to work for an organization that does not let insurance coverage dictate treatment and enables families to successfully complete programming.
